... are truly equal here in Dresden. Not only do they have ampelmann (traffic light man) they also have ampelwoman! Wait for the green woman and all that... I went back to the hostel and did day 2 of my advent challenge. Unfortunately the range of beer in the hostel was poor so I had to settle for a girly beer, a Grafenwalder radler! I spent the rest of the evening chatting to some guys in the hostel before going to bed, with a long bus the next ...

... food was more expensive here. We went to a Tapas bar that was amazing. But it's not overly expensive. A Turkish meal the next night was cheaper and delicious too. On our last night, we found a nice outdoor beer and wine garden. There were lights in the trees and they were serving hot wine. We bought a cat light at the palace shop. The shop has a cat outside where mom took a picture.

We saw swans and a dog lied next to mom on the ferry.

Ascend to Bastei at 11 am. We got to the baste within an hour. It has very nice view of the Elbe (river). We also walked to Scho something which was 20 minutes from the bastei. There was a moist descent and I didn't like it. We ...

... either bike or run in the morning. Tim's dad had mentioned swimming tomorrow morning... *sigh*, I don't see why no one picks up on me not being a big fan of going and driving somewhere to swim for hours. But... we'll see. I am praying it is still storming a little. These plants really need some rain, and I have no excuse not to go swimming, hahaha.
All in all, life is pretty good. And oh yes! Happy Platte River's Day everyone! :-)
