BTW, the Autobahn is amazing here! The rest stops are super clean, and many of them have a play area for the kids. We stopped at one of these along the way; it also had incredible views of the what our drive looked like most of the way. Now if I was only driving a vehicle that would actually go 200 kms/hour without shaking like a rattled aspen leaf :-(

... since. The locals perform in the play and it runs for 5 hours a day every day between May and October. The first castle we went to was Linderhof. This was a beautiful small castle which was lovely. King Ludwig 2 built this as his private place. He was a very solitary person. The rooms were small and there was just the ground floor (servants quarters and working area) and the first floor (his rooms). No photos of the castles though as it wasn't allowed. It was ...

In 1960 the camp was closed and then later reopened as a memorial to all of those that suffered and lost their lives. We entered through the gate that has the famous saying Arbeit macht frei, or 'Work will make you free" which we ...
