... there would be no ride on the bike and definitely no ride on the cable car because Mont Blanc was shrouded in thick fog. ... every lane we change. Today's most tense passages were done without sat nav. Today we got lost for 8 miles - without sat nav. I'll willingly do the advert... ... fire prevention and firefighting techniques. There is now a museum dedicated to the history of
firefighting. We had a look around that and a few of the other things to see that we hadn’t seen on the tour, like the various (very upmarket) craft shops including a goldsmith and shoe maker.
Once we felt we had seen everything, we headed back to the campsite to pick up our swimming gear and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and cooling off in the Schlosssee.
