... makes it almost impossible to throw out trash (there is a 4 page manual on how to throw out trash and you have to buy special bags that cost $25 francs for 5), but ensures that the public transportation and train system is amazing and always right on schedule - to the second.

Also, the entire country closes on Sunday, which isn't very good when you arrive on a Sunday with no food - let's say I was a little hangry to say the least, but ...

It seems it's been forever since I was able to upload and make copies of my photos and video clips, and since Italy I've had this uneasy feeling that something could happen to my memory cards and they would all be lost... Looks like I'm getting back on track, and I can see the sizeable town of Bludunz up ahead. But first, snuggled up next to it on the hillside is the town of Nuziders. Here I pause for a strum session in a mini park with an old fashioned well--noticing what looks like a Turkish family leaving their very Austrian looking home across the street.

No "immigrant ghettos" here in Nuziders...

I continue down a peaceful country path up the valley, past lush grassy fields and little forest groves. One unique thing here are little wooden huts scattered throughout the fields. Not quite sure what they're for--my guess is they are for storing hay or something. Does give the fields a bit of character. Also along the way are little shrine-chapels with ...
