... in plenty of time. Check in and security had to be the easiest process ever as there was no queues and they were very friendly people. We had plenty of time in the departure lounge for a coffee and to do some work before our plane left at 1pm.

We arrived in Zurich airport which was relatively quiet, and managed to find our way to the train to take us to the city with asking only once for help. The main trainstation in the city is HUGE!! It has at least 50 ...

Sadly, the one thing I was most looking forward to was cancelled so no fondue and yodelling for Dani. Or at least not tour planned. I'm sure I can find a place to do both back home sometime.

We took it easy his morning and Elijah had a sleep in his cot while I looked for accommodation in the Swiss Alps. We then headed down to the train station with Alice and took the train to Zurich city. The train station is only about 50 metres from Alice and Peter's house which is very convenient! Once we arrived in Zurich we walked along the river and Alice pointed out some historical buildings to us. We then got to the lake and went to a roadside shop that ...

This morning we got up and had a lovely breakfast- toast with Alice's homemade jam, bacon, eggs and different cheeses. Then Alice and Peter drove us to Lucerne. It was still raining and quite foggy so we couldn't see many of the mountains which was a shame. We drove through Lucerne and then drove up Burgenstock Mountain. It was so foggy that we could only see a few metres in front of us. It was ...
