... in plenty of time. Check in and security had to be the easiest process ever as there was no queues and they were very friendly people. We had plenty of time in the departure lounge for a coffee and to do some work before our plane left at 1pm.

We arrived in Zurich airport which was relatively quiet, and managed to find our way to the train to take us to the city with asking only once for help. The main trainstation in the city is HUGE!! It has at least 50 ...

This morning we got up and had a lovely breakfast- toast with Alice's homemade jam, bacon, eggs and different cheeses. Then Alice and Peter drove us to Lucerne. It was still raining and quite foggy so we couldn't see many of the mountains which was a shame. We drove through Lucerne and then drove up Burgenstock Mountain. It was so foggy that we could only see a few metres in front of us. It was ...

    Lindau to Birmensdorf

This morning we went down to the hotel restaurant and had breakfast. It was included with the hotel stay which was good. There were lots of different things like muesli, yogurt, meats and cheeses, bread rolls, toast, croissants and danishes. We then packed up our bags and got on the road. We crossed the border into Austria almost straight away and then went through a really long tunnel through ...
