We got off from hotel a bit later than planned because the locker got stuck and had to wait for it to be opened. We then took the free bus trip from Metropole stop towards Interlaken Ost station. Bought Jungfrau tickets at 25% discount because of Eurail passes. took a beautiful ride up with 2 changes in between to reach the 11,333 ft climb to top of Europe. Great place - temp at -8•C and winds of 60kmh. Watched from obesrbatory platform ...

Back home, we got poached, soft boil, hard boil, sunny side up, scrambled...." and "oh Bob, they ain't go no pancakes" or "where is the ketchup for my cereal?". Ok, so we made the last one up! Anyway enough Anti-American tourists.... So we checked the forecast for Saturday and the weather looked perfect for a day in the mountain air. What to do them? "We could take the gondala halfway up Pilatus and have a picnic then hike back down?" "Sounds ...

We took it easy his morning and Elijah had a sleep in his cot while I looked for accommodation in the Swiss Alps. We then headed down to the train station with Alice and took the train to Zurich city. The train station is only about 50 metres from Alice and Peter's house which is very convenient! Once we arrived in Zurich we walked along the river and Alice pointed out some historical buildings to us. We then got to the lake and went to a roadside shop that ...
