Further to my quick entry last night. It was a long day. Just have to tell you about the motor way or Autobarn ( know Jude and Dave have been on it) but for those of you who haven't, plus it was raining , how scarey Sooo many trucks , gave up counting in the end. Even the truck stops were packed out. When we were on just two laned highways I was jumping every now and then as they frightened me I just couldn't get used to them on ...

... repack our luggage. We were docked in Passau for two nights and had an approx 150 mi round trip bus ride to visit Regensburg -- the subject of tomorrow's entry. The city dates back to late 5th century when ...

... café and went in for some yummy Flammkuchen. From there it was a quick tour of the local church and town hall, but that was about all there was to see.

Paula was very observant and realised that there was a funny town along the way so we stopped at Ober****ing (Upper *******) for a photo although we were disappointed that there wasn't a sign at Unter****ing. Áftef our walk we were treated to a 30 minute concert compliments of the cruise to experience its magnificent sound. The interior was a sight to behold. From here we went back on board to enjoy lunch and then we had free time to explore further sights. So we walked up to ...

... were informed that due to the lack of rain the Danube is not deep enough for the boat to continue tonight so we went 30kms backwards & they would look at options tomorrow, apparently at the start of the week electricity demands increase & therefore more water comes into the river. So options
    1. Wait to see if river increases enough to continue tomorrow
    2. Move by bus up river then get on another boat further up & continue
    We will know tonight
