Longest Day continued

... that long. They were not told that our plane was delayed so he just waited. It turns out that our plane had mechanical problems.

We then drive to Sehnde, the village that Martin and Benta live in, where we will be staying for the next few days. Benta has made us some tuna melts so we eat a bit and the go to bed. We have basically been up for 36 hours; about 30 of which have been in airports or planes.

... the very friendly waiter with ordering a side of chips with our meal. Anyway once our meal arrived (14 prawns on a skewer) it was delicious. Next we catch a little boat out to the island to explore the castle. It was interesting wandering through the castle grounds and buildings. ... having driven lots in Europe was easy. I forgot how crazy the big motor ways are, and unlike France which has a speed limit of 130km, Germany seems to have an open speed limit on these roads.
