Where? Lleida is a pleasant little village a couple hours north of Barcelona with a very worthy site or two. But more than sightseeing, we were there to visit our friends Meredith, Manu, their two adorable boys and to rest a bit after many days constantly on the move. Had to get a steep rack railway up through the clouds, to the top of a mountain to get to Montserrat. It is a monastery that was built because a traveller had the vision of the Virgin Mary whilst hiking up there. Magnificent rock formations and view. The line to touch the statue of the Virgin Mary was about two hours long - a tad ridiculous for people who are not meant to worship 'false idols' if you ask me...

... a half million people, with a beautiful and easy to navigate old town area. This is a city that isn´t over whelmed with tourists, so we could really enjoy ourselves with out being bombared with tour requests etc. I could live in Zaragoza with out any hesitancy.
