        ... hit heavy traffic when we were a couple of suburbs into Angguk station, but it didn’t last long. I think it had got to do with the the National Day celebrations.

        ... onto the closed top double decker. We opted to just cruise around the city and didn’t bother getting off at any of the stops which somewhat confused the ticket lady.

        Back on our feet and with the rain coming down we made our way to Bongeun-sa temple which is a Buddhist temple at the base of a mountain overlooking the city. It is quite a sight to stand behind the huge Buddha statue which stands looking out over the city, it was a nice break ...

        ... t lugging our checked bags. It's pitch bLack out and freezing. We both have toms on and wrap our scarves around our head to stay warm. We spot the KAL building,but it's after hours and we don't see any shuttles in sight. Julie spots a little man in a nice suit who runs up and says "Westin?" Praise baby Jesus, yes! He hurries us along, obvi there is no shuttle, this man on foot is picking us up, and we follow him down in the underground shopping mall, dodging locals ...
