In the afternoon we were supposed to catch the ferry to the other side of the lake, however we read the timetable wrong and missed it which meant that we had to drive to Rapperswil instead.       Walking along a busy road, with ski lifts all around, I must say crossing this pass doesn't have quite the same raw magic as Splugenpass did. In fact, right at the very top of the pass is yet another cluster of hotels and restaurant.
