... told us it was for, although the LP says it was actually a different column that was for the plague, and this one was just a religious monument. Either way, it was an impressive structure. [editor's note: After looking more into this, the large, Unesco-listed column in the middle of the square is definitely the Holy Trinity Column - sorry Nela! The plague column is in a smaller square around the corner.]

... town :) I even ate "steak for Hana woman". It was good (obviously). Luke tried some local dumplings, which were a good bit of stoge!

Went out for a couple of beers in the aeroplane bar which was pretty much as you would expect from a plane converted into a bar. Had an early night for tomorrow, continuing the morbid theme with a visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau before settling in Krakow for two nights.
