    ... the way so our short drive took a lot longer. Thus, we spent the night in St Blaise, an hour from Berne. We did finally make it the Berne, considered a city but really just a mash up of medieval streets and lots of cellars. It was beautiful made more so appealing by the beach volleyball tournament in the middle of town.     ... we picked up a couple of little gifts before walking to the cable car, where our bags were delivered and we piled into the glass cabin to be delivered back to our car down the hill. As we drove from Lauterbrunnen I sensed Andy was a little nostalgic saying goodbye to the place. Sat nav lady was up to her usual tricks and telling us we were driving up the cliff face to Murren.     Rained all night but we set off for Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein, in sunshine. Rained on and off most of the day, in between brilliant sunshine. Like being in a fairyland state! Buses are free today - National Day. Arrived in town, as they were setting up for the day. Streets closed and food stalls everywhere, starting to cook for this afternoon.
