    ... br> The rain finally stopped as we pulled in to heididorf. Turns out the Heidi House was very interesting. They had it authentically staged and furnished, including Clara's wheelchair. Now I definitely need to see the film. Then I can say that I have been on the set of a movie.

    ... it was quick! About 5km down the road the path we were supposed to be on crossed the road we were on. A quick left turn had us on the designated path and a roller coaster ride of a trip ensued. Lisa says it was the best day's riding she's ever had. The Pino isn't a mountain bike but I'm endlessly surprised at how well she handles what she wasn't designed for!     Today we rode through what could have been the inspiration for those wonderful Hornby Model Train scenes - you know the ones - distant snow capped mountains, quaint villages nestled by the lake, green fields spotted with barns and gorgeous houses, rivers and bridges and lots and lots of trains!
