Now found this hotel, and again it seems I struck gold.
I was in a place called Chur, found some wifi, and had a look at what was about?
Now to say it was a good price, to say I was lucky cos they had only been doing online bookings for 3 days, but best was the ride up, so bendy and now I'm high above the village/town and can't wait for breakfast and the ride down.
Got in the room, made friends with my hosts, had a few ...

Wanted to stop but, the only car park was full, the one street already had four motorbikes parked outside the only pub, and the McDonalds seat was taken, and the local hooker had already pulled the mayor!
Obviously all thats a joke, but I did get through it quite quickly, and wanted to find somewhere to stay.

A real novelty and like ...

... Check out the picture. Very quiet on a Sunday morning. It gets pretty hectic.

Downtown Zürich is beautiful. A river (or two, I think) runs through it, with charming old buildings lining cobblestone streets. As in France, I'm particularly fond of the pedestrians streets, charming shops and cafés, one after another.

My plan for today: I'm going on a city tour, followed by a trip into Liechtenstein . There are plenty of other, perhaps more exciting tours available. ...

Chur – round trip Disentis, 60km

As I was writing this story I kept misspelling Disentis with Dementis now there could well be something in that as catching the Glacier Express to the Swiss ski resort area of Disentis with our tandem could well be a demented aspiration. We'd slept in waking at 7:00. Our itinerary started with a train trip from Chur to the spa resort of Muster in Disentis. Our goal of riding the Rhine from near its source starts here some 1,130 metres above sea level. ...
