Day two we wake up and go to breakfast.i had a new type of cereal it was yummy.i had yoghurt with it. mum tried to drive she was scared that she was going to run over the bike riders. in italy the people drive on the other side of the road. later that morning, mum marcella frankie and i went to an adventure park. the adventure park was an abseiling rope course high above the ground in the pine trees in the alps. we were given safty equipment which was a harness and a helmet. ...

... Heiligenblut, Lienz Good ride, sleet and rain at the top of Grossglockener. We did it - no probelms on the GrossGlockner pass and just stunning views. Only sleeting a lttle bit at the top (trying to stay positive!) Found the hotel that my parents stayed in Dobbiaco. Swim,sauna and football for the men before a truely delicious 6 course meal all included in the price. My God, I'm going to become a little fat piglet with all this Italian ...

Goodbye Italy, here we come Austria. We set off mid morning to travel to Innsbruck via the Penserjoch pass and the Brenner Pass. We travelled through many tunnels some better than others. We were going through one tunnel and 2 trucks were approaching each other both had to stop and manoeuvre very carefully as neither had room to reverse, there would only have been cms between them. ... was placed on Cima Grande in 1915 to light up the Italian assault. The walk today was over 8km but I didn't find it to be a hard walk and even if it had been, the scenery was so magnificent that it would have been worth it - the Dolomites are certainly spectacular. Earlier tonight, at 6pm, Italy played in the World Cup but unfortunately went down 1-0.
