      ... so may people quietly walking, occasionally clapping. We joined the protest. It was moving. We walked along, It felt good to be part of that group.
      We ate lunch at a cafe and then went for a long walk through the town and around the port.
      On the way back to the car we ate churros.

      We drove to Avignon and booked into a hotel for 2 nights.

      ... the town. We bought delicious baguettes for lunch and ate them while walking around the marina.
      There was some serious money parked in that harbour.
      We all picked out our favourite boat. The kids need to study hard, marry well or start buying lottery tickets!!
      We hopped back into the car and drove to Cannes, enjoying the scenery along the way.

      ... didn’t make its own treats, but I had desperately wanted to believe I was mistaken but the proof was in the pudding! We piled into the van and began our drive back down to the entrance of the gorge and on towards Valensole, about a hundred km or so west of Moustiers.
