    Khai's enjoying driving around Jersey in our Hire car (the locals say the H on the number plate stands for horror, not hire) - a little Ford Fiesta.  Compared to driving in Singapore, this is a real treat.  Although morning rush hour is v bad - people are so polite and let each other go.  How refreshing!  He's also enjoying bacon butties at the harbour every morning.     Best landing into Jersey ever!! So smooth, although I lost my packet of dried fruit as it flew to the front of the plane and neither of us could catch it in time. Also, a little delay in Gatwick due to fog, but nothing to worry about. Celebrated mum and dad's Golden 50th wedding anniversary at the Atlantic Hotel.     ... for dinner, while the girls were out walking.

    Had a nice dinner but with an early start in the morning we were mindful not to over indulge with the festivities.

    Off to London tomorrow morning via Aurigny Air, arrive at Gatwick at 9.30am.

    ... to indulge and it was great, a welcome change from croissants and crepes for breakfast.

    Ferry trip was three hours with a stop over at Jersey thrown in for free. Reasonably comfortable ride a bit of rocking and rolling, certainly been through worse on the Rottnest ferry.     Nice relaxed day, went shopping early, there was a M&S opposite the boat so some good old English bacon and sausage was called for then after a hearty full English with French eggs, we headed out to explore round St Peter Port, again with it still being festival time the town was putting free music events on during the day so we stopped and watched some of the free entertainment on offer.
