We left St. Malo and stopped at Fougeres to see the St. Leonard church and the public gardens. We walked the ramparts and took photos of one of the largest medieval castles in France. We drove to Chinon in the Loire valley to visit some chateaus.

... to the hotel - was about 1.5km and hopefully down hill. What I hadn't planned on was the lack of path or where there was a path it was gravel. I was hot and tired when I finally reached the corner where the hotel was supposed to be. Peter entertained me with quite a few Irish jokes until we realised the table or burley blokes beside us were the Irish bikies who had parked their bikes down stairs at our hotel. ... the town centre. To celebrate the amazing week we all congregated in the hotel sitting room for a sparking wine. This was a wonderful way to celebrate the ride, the friendships and the fun we had all had. Dinner was again amazing. As usual we had a set menu with a choice of 2 or 3 courses.
