Imprinted on the bottom of the pool was an Iguana, and from the front verandah there were three real live iguanas to check out!!! We were all so jetlagged that we fell into a deep sleep on the flight from Miami to Pointe-a-Pitre, the capital of Guadeloupe. We thus sadly missed our first glimpses of paradise from the air, awaking only as we landed at the airport.
