... a historic site and was finally brought by the French government in 1934 preserving its history. Inside the wing we viewed pieces of art from the original buildings and were able to walk around the grounds and see the remenants of the previous building.

Well after a long and tiring, but fulfilling day, we are back at our Gite and filled with anticipation of what the next weeks in Montpezat-de-Quercy will have in store for us.

We arrived in Sarlat at late afternoon.
