So a new month and we get closer to Christmas but still the sun keeps shining. Its bloody lovely in France. Back to school at the start of the week and Ruby was a bit wobbly as expected but got over it soon enough. The rest of us have just about managed to get through the week unscathed although this has not been helped by me suffering from a terrible case of flu de monsieur. Since our holidays are almost over we have to start planning for our next break. So with this in mind yesterday we went for a drive to our local ski resort at Le Lioran. The idea was just to see what it was like and if it would be worth going there and I thought there would be somewhere in the village where we could get some lunch and then maybe go for a bit of a walk in the hills. ... little English spoken but we did ok understanding the menu. Phil had his favourite, an entrecôte steak and I had duck breast both delicious and full of garlic. This was followed by profiteroles to share, my favourite. Oh yes and for good measure, a bottle!!! of very nice white wine. Tomorrow it's off to the coiffure for Tess, followed by a trip to a dealers, should be interesting! as they do not speak any English. So no more loitering outside the TIC to upload the ...

Last day on this lovely site. Went for a last coffee in Labastide and filled up with diesel for the journey north.

Meal in the restaurant in the evening and once again it was lovely. Owners and all the staff are very friendly. Lovely way to end our stay here. Looking forward to coming back next year.
