... and beautiful fruit being a lunchtime favourite.

The la Perouse museum [he being born in Albi] was fascinating for us Aussies. Not only did we connect with his Australian visit which coincided with the first fleet, but we got an understanding of the bravado and skill they used to navigate a large part of the Pacific ocean for nearly 3 years.

We then wended our way to the charming backwater of La Vicasse, a town with a population of about 6, on the banks of a tree lined river. Wonderful flowery quiet and peaceful campsite by a lake. It had a great playground and pool with jacuzzi, and I think we were all very happy with the campsite. Small villages around. ... hatbox inside the lid. I can just barely fit the whole thing into the stapled paper bag that the shop gave me. Around all of this, I put my scarf which will serve to hold the entire thing together and finally wrap it all in my raincoat and tape it all together with the plastic tape.
