... restaurants. A 3 course meal with red wine and coffee was had for 14 Euros. Sitting outside we enjoyed the sunshine while viewing the valley and hills. Back home we did a walk through St Andre de Cruzieres admiring the town square and the simple styled church. 5pm and it was time for champagne on Geoff's newly tiled terrace and later our last evening meal before our move to Paris ...

It was always on my list of things to do, having canoed up the Ardeche river as a kid, to return. That holiday has always stayed in my mind, first time abroad and first real memory of not being with my parents whilst away from home. ... fruit and cheese. After a short "siesta" we headed in to town to bye food for dinner and a few small souvenirs. We got back to the house and... Jumped in the pool! We had a long swim while Mama and Dada made a dinner of omelet and other leftovers from the week. After dinner we went swimming again, of course!
Tomorrow we leave the south heading for ...

      ... a souvenir!

One more brief stop at the super-marche for some basics to keep us going. Super markets in other countries are always fascinating to us. Highlights of yesterday's shop included at least three different crisps, Cote D’Or chocolat praline and various biscuits. We were very tempted by the 12 pack of Twix and Mars bars for 3 Euros (measuring about 30 inches in length) however the practicality of lugging on upcoming trains, cabs ...
