I am all ready and am now waiting for the shuttle to take me to the airport. My flight is at 2:35 PM to JFK where I will have a 5 hour layover, arriving in Cairo at 4:45 PM local time. I estimate from the time I leave home to check in at the hotel in Cairo will be about 26 hours.
... angel fish, grouper, and a barracuda or two. It was pretty neat for being able to just swim out 30 ft and see such an array of creatures. Good thing there were no sharks that day though.
In the evening we headed over to my cousins house to meet up with relatives that we had not seen for years. They had a bridal shower / rehearsal dinner that included some of the extended family and we got to catch up which was pretty ...
... and played some ball which was fun. Last night we were there I got a little too drunk....it was 2 for 1 night. Haha...but TJ was such a gentleman. He took care of the rest of the laundry and packed up the car by himself and then drove for 9 hours. What a trooper. We did forget our car chargers though. Oops!!!!
... just to remind her of the granddaughters who like it a lot, as does Jay who had three helpings. Jay won't be back til Sunday night and we will be on our way to London. It was sad to say to say goodbye, he has been wonderful to us during our two weeks here.
Although Gary is not keen on seafood both he and Todd cleaned up their plates so I think it went down really well. They, and Lona are watching a movie I'm not really in to while I am doing this.
... driver. Still waiting for the coffee, but we didn't need dinner.
All that beer and I fell asleep on the lounge back in Delray, but was stirred to watch a movie.
Notice the Socceroos had a nice win in Northern Ireland, very good result I thought although the stats' indicate Ireland were well in it, A brace from Tim was good but I wish someone else would start scoring..
... farm previously in South Florida so that and time constaints eliminated a second go at those things.
Got back about 5 pm, had a quiet hour bfore a chicken salad for dinner after which I Iook Todd up to Home Depot for a last ride on the bike, it goes to Brouard Motorsports tomorrow on consignment as the local private market has let me down. Fingers crossed the professionals can sell it?
So, we stayed a week in Floria. There was myself and Matt, and our other friends Sam and Nat. Although we never really left the condo it was a super good time and was so nice just to relax after camp.
England won the Ashes which cheared Matt up no end, so in turn made the holiday even more special.
We spent an evening staying with our ...
... that we will require an emergency exit seat on the flight back home.
Finally we ended the evening with a nice night cap of two very good vodkas (a French Vodka "Pinaclle" and a Vodka called "The Snow Queen"). The Snow Queen was a very smooth vodka which can only be found in specialty liquor stores. It was probably my first enjoyable shot of vodka.
Now all we can do is try and get some sleep and fly out in the morning. That's it for today.
... to give it a try, if it is too rough we can always come back to the marina. At 7:30 Captain Ted starts taking down the lines and freeing us from the dock, so we can be first at the fuel dock. Our neighbor is trying the same thing, and beat us away from the birth by about 30 seconds. As we near the fuel dock we can see a second fuel pump on the other side of the dock. Both boats are able to tie up and wait for the dock to open. The people in the other boat are ...

Each morning I turn on the HAM radio to listen to the Waterway Net at 7.2680 starting at 07:45 EST. The weather for the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the Gulf Stream is given each morning plus vessels at sea or anchor can give position reports to friends listening. In addition, we listen to the inshore reports on our VHF radios and then in the morning discuss all the variables with friends and fellow cruisers.
