... I have no idea how far down it was but it was a Long way down. The water is a beautiful greenish blue coming directly from the mountains. We are told it is 4 degrees C and will warm up to 10 degrees by August. After the gorge we visited an old fort that was built to cut off the pass so that Italian soldiers could not move into Austria.
