... drinking the poison. Her body laid on a simple open sarcophagus, made of red Verona marble. Today, it is empty and still open, as her family moved her to the family crypt after discovering Juliet's death. Walking down to the tomb and standing in front of the sarcophagus was a little eerie, but it was a really neat experience. It was a very fitting way to end our day in Verona and three day travel weekend!

We took the flight from Amsterdam to Venice at 7:30AM. Then we took a bus to the train station called "Venezia Mestre" from the airport.
