    We passed the birth place of Napoleon (Maison Bonaparte) which is now a museum on our way to Rue Fesch.     ... so that by the time we got back to Ajaccio, it was really pretty nice. As we had a short port call in Corsica (the ship was sailing at 2:00 PM), we didn’t have time to do anything but get back on the ship when we returned.

    Docked at Propriano, population 3k, smaller than Waiheke! Southern coast of Corsica. Have got a full day here, not leaving until 11pm so plan is to get out and about during the day, return for dinner and then go back on shore if it looks safe enough.
