Day 1 - Venice by Foot
A short bus ride into Piazza Roma, Venice and we caught our first glimpse of the "sinking city." Boats dipping in and out of the waves everywhere the eye could see. It really is just like you see in the pictures. Instantly I knew we had chosen the right city to visit. I was mesmerized.

... to see something of Venice as we are only here one full day and tomorrow we head off to the Cinque Terre.

We head off to St Mark's which is now getting crowded but we stop to enjoy the main sights and take photos. I am pitching Murano as a nice day trip, great views of Venice, less crowds and did I mention jewelry! What a perfect idea and off we head. It is about a 1/2 hour trip and it is a gorgeous sunny day and we enjoy the views along the way.
