    ... I'm still very confused as to how they stay up there and don't plummet to their deaths. Snowshoeing proved to be a super fun experience with a heavy reliance on balance, which apparently I don't have too much of.     ... because the hill was sortof steep and had a curve at the bottom, but a nice French lady helped get my ski poles back to me and I was off again without further complications. Because it went well the first time down that route and my improvement between the first two runs I took... I thought I'd try it again.
