... if even half of what he said is actually true! He told us riotous stories of his many jobs and careers, kitchen boy, sous-chef, restauranteur, art dealer, music producer & promoter, owner of a string of ice-cream shops, oh, and a gigalo to the daughter of Malta's prime minister...oh, and, when D mentioned the Maserati car, he said he had one of those, too, until he ...

Avril and husband come here for 6 weeks spring and end of August! hmm. Says they don't like towing their caravan from Cumbria each time so leave it here. Suppose that makes sense. If you like caravans! Next activity must be to explore the forest trail. Well, ...

Ok so missed yesterday. Driving so no internet. Lovely drive south. Told sat nav to avoid toll roads so had great route using main and not so main roads into an area south of the Loire en route to Royan. Very friendly site in the countryside with mixture of nationalities. Quite tired so cooked a meal and had an early night. Weather quite warm but not very sunny with the clear blue skies I had sort of expected. It's great to have daylight so late even end of ...
