Hello all! There isn't much to tell of this week, I have been sick so no school pour moi. Just the flu, thankfully nothing serious - it's not surprising though as everyone is sick in this weather. My days have been fulfilled with watching TV, Friends and Glee is on between 11:30 and 1:30 so I flick between the channels to watch them both :). Apart from tht I ...

      Bonjour everyone!!

I am very sorry I haven't written in a while. I arrived safely to Monts, Centre where my lovely host family lives. It is a little town and about a 35 minute bus trip to my school which is HUGE! The bodies of Henry 2, Eleanor of Acquataine, Ric************* heart an his wife Isabelle of Angouleme were all buried there in the abbey church. Eleanor lived there fir sometime after Henry died in between helping Richard out when he was off at the crusades or imprisoned. She joined the order not long before she died. The order was unusual as it was ...

Thankfully, we woke to a better day. It was fresh but the sun was breaking through and it was time to visit the market and Alain for the wine at Domaine de la Paleine! We were able to taste several more wines which he did not bring on the boat. Namely Rosés and a sparkling red. We then placed our orders and paid up. Luckily, Alain was prepared to deliver all of our orders to the campsite ...
