The bus will be here to take us to the airport in 6 hours and I just finished packing. The students are hopefully already asleep in bed! We had a great last day in Paris! Our day began with a trip up to visit Sacre Coeur basilica and the wonderful souvenir shops and artist quarter located behind. The rain held off until our shopping was done, thank goodness! We continued on in the rain to visit Napoleon's tomb at Les Invalides. We then headed back to the hotel and most of ...

We climbed to the summit, where in spite of the cold and rain, ...

We were able to taste several more wines which he did not bring on the boat. Namely Rosés and a sparkling red. We then placed our orders and paid up. Luckily, Alain was prepared to deliver all of our orders to the campsite ...

After a lazy morning pottering about the campsite and walking into the little town for extra provisions, eight of us met up for lunch at Le Mail restaurant cum betting shop which is in the square! The Plat du Jour was paella, which is not a favourite of mine. I chose a salmon dish with mussels and rice, which, washed down with a carafe of Rosé wine, was very palatable! Whilst waiting for our courses, the "cabaret" was ...

I walked up to a viewing place in the peche (hill) to overlook the pretty village and monastery at Brezé, it was so peaceful and lovely.

I am starting to settle into this routine now and can just appreciate the quiet and stillness and just sit and be for a while, watching and listening to nature. Then a walk around the village, a drink on a pavement café in the square, rather strangely there were 4 Harley ...
