... attraction, l'Arc de Triomphe. When we got there we marveled at the sheer size of the structure before heading up to the top. When we finally arrived at the top after climbing the hundreds and hundreds of stairs the view we saw was breathtaking. Just getting an understanding of the city was great, not to mention the awesome view of the Eiffel Tower among other attraction. We stayed atop the arc for a good hour and a half ...
... All very delicious. After we'd finished eating, the show started. We were right up the front (the gods must have been happy with us) and the stage automatically extended out. We had a birds eye view (of all the boobs)! The whole show was amazing. We had been told that it was difficult to buy food in the park so we scabbed some bread & croissants at breakfast and had them for lunch with a coffee, but there were many ...
... was excellent - and, of course, the views were pure Paris romantic. A quick run-down: asparagus soup, escargot, veal, chicken, coffee flan, and ending with one of those cute miniature cappuccinos as we pulled back into the dock. They have this down to the second. More walking around and a quick visit to the Musee d'Orsay for more fine impressionist art as we closed the museum. Gotta love this town! Becca's corner: The entire Seine dinner meal. Can't beat that ...
