... Pinxos restaurant she, Ev, and Jullie had loved 3 weeks earlier. It was truly amazing and we enjoyed talking with a lovely british couple who now run a B&B in Provence. Judy and the kids had a wet but fun time, as the weather had finally turned south.
I don't really need to tell you what we did do I? Take one part playground, one part beach, and one part sunset and you have a Kramer day in Biarritz.
Judy spent the day with Pierre, a former wrestler and French Olympic wresting coach (he went with the team to Atlanta) who she had met on the train ride a few days ...

Biarritz, Aquitaine, France kramertownSan Sebastian is a wicked old town, literally full of tapas restaurants, bars and little shops. Our hostel was right in the middle of it all, it was ridiculously loud at night, but nothing wine and ear plugs can't handle. They have all these tapas laid out on the bars and you pick the ones that look good.... sometimes ...
San Sebastián - Donostia, Basque, Spain and Canary Islands sofenjon... the beach – I was supposed to head out there with a couple of Italian guys. Leaving Plaza Guipuzkoa after eating a pastry there, I ran into Domingo, one of Frank’s friends who attended the wake last night. We quickly exchanged pleasantries in passing as I was in a bit of a hurry to get back to the hostel, and he was in a rush to go have lunch.
The Italian guys weren’t back yet, but Elena was there visiting with ...

... beach, is Mount Urgull. Once the site where the French and Spanish fought, this castle was built to protect the harbor from attack. Mt. Urgull is now just a historical complex to hike around, so it seemed the perfect spot for a late afternoon lunch and some good exercise. Making our way up the paved path to the top, we stopped occasionally to look at the view and see the remains of the castle. At the top we found a shady spot and enjoyed another fabulous picnic ...
San Sebastián - Donostia, Spain ksunderhill... and wish everyone good luck. Its now about 7:55am, 5 minutes to go. I quickly grab my camera out to take one last picture of Joel and me before the run. As soon as I take my hand down from taking the picture, a cop grabs me by my neck and pushes me through the first fence only to be grabbed by another cop who pushed me through the next fence, and just like that (5 ****ing minutes before the start of the race) I was out! I was ...
Pamplona, Spain chuckonearth... before. There is a huge festival going on as well so mabye that has something to do with the craziness on the beaches. As you can expect, all the beaches are all topless and even nude. It is brutal seeing naked old guys though. The sand on the beach is soo soft and the water is soo refreshing. Everday we just chill on one of the beaches and swim. Simple as that. At night we go check out the festival ...
