... it's so steep. Sounds complaint-worthy, but we LOVE it! Walking is like breathing now- we don't even notice it despite the fact that everywhere we go is either straight up or straight down the steepest roads I have ever seen. Our idea of what constitutes a "convenience" has changed, hopefully permanently.

... was actually delicious! The Gangspenni Pasta Con Pulpo (pasta with octopus) was tender and wonderful and the brick oven pizza was also a winner.

Back at the Belmar we bought Juan/John a drink to thank him for the good advice and eventually migrated back to our room to snooze. Tomorrow is it; the grand finale, the big log good bye, we hoist anchor, raise our sails and cast off to our last stop: Monte Verde, Costa Rica. Hasta laugo, adios, good night.
