    ... a field full of them. A sheepdog, standing guard in a paddock alongside a flock of sheep. Cute villages with an avenue of trees as you enter; in one such case, leading to the town of Cereste, the trees seemed to go on for a kilometre or more, and with a canopy so dense you thought you were in a tunnel.

    Twas a big day. About seven hours of driving, most of it on the clutch or brake. But worth every minute.
