... pass. This was a beautiful decent with gradual sweeping turns. We were descending at around 30-35mph but staying in control.

We reached the town at the bottom of the hill. Of course Ray and I couldn’t remember the rally point so we rode around the little town for a while. Finally we called the people at Thompson. Ultimately I made it, absolutely shagged, but I was still standing unlike a stack of others who were on the roadside collapsed.

Got to get organised for tomorrow and off to bed ...

Hi everyone, The morning we hitchhiked to barcelonette started with some tears and a nice man who gave us free apricots. After our breakfast, we started hitchhiking, it was already very hot so we decided to stand in the shadow. A few songs and some dancemoves later we got a lift from a guy who brought us to a local family pool. It looked idyllic but it was too good to be true. We find out that ...

We then headed South West to Riez before turning North through Mezel, Digne-les-Bains and onto our only mountain pass of the day. Col du Labouret , 1240 meters. We arrived to a free cold beer at our lodgings for the night, Chateau de Picomontal, a medieval castle on the shore of lake Serre-Poncon and adjacent to the town of ...
