      We climbed the 56 steps leading up to this impressive House of Worship only to find, not open until 10am, too late for us. However, as we know, if you are there for prayer, there is always a side door. And so there was in this instance also.

      The Cathedral is dedicated to St.Andrew. Two Italian cleaning ladies were methodically mopping the floor and quietly chatting. Their ministry to God in that place!

      ... I do think it's because of a combination of things, the butter and the bread in Italy is unsalted and their jams are so bland, that breakfast became the "only" uninteresting meal.

      Yes, Phillip does go into the piazza but not every morning and it has taken several tries to find a bread that will successful toast but to no avail because of the "toppings".

      ... br> Lunch was great and cooked much lighter than in Australia. We ordered our favourite mains of lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork and fried rice However entree antipasto plate was a variety of little fried things, like spring rolls, so fresh, and lots of, "I don't know what", however with the accompanying dipping sauce, all tasted great!

      The coatings on both the lemon chicken and sweet and sour were much lighter than they serve at ...

      ... sitting enjoying coffee in piazza 12 on the dot! She then locked up and presumably went home! Done for the day!
      Do I just not notice that at home nothing is being done on my hair for at least half the time I spend in the hairdresser?

      A great experience though, and ah, it's Italy....so civilised!
