... to Firenze tomorrow. Toni needed to use a washroom so Jeff took Toni and Kerry to a nice washroom leaving Ian and myself behind at the beautiful Basilica. After about an hour Ian and I were getting a tad po'd as they hadn't returned yet but alas they finally turned up only to find out Jeff took them on a tour without us and Kerry ended up buying these beautiful sheets about 800 thread count just to get Jeff to finally get back to us. After checking in and getting settled, we head into the town of Montalcino to see our second hilltop town and the home of Brunello di Montalcino wines. We met up with Kerry and Toni sitting at a restaurant right by our hotel drinking wine (shocker) already after their tough shopping trek!! We then joined them for lunch Kerry had ...

... along the water thru more small towns until we finally hit the freeway A3 to Napoli. Off on the A1 Autostrada until lunch break to the town of Frosinone. Hot day over 30C when we stopped for yet another great lunch. Ian and Kerry had a wonderful pot pie with porcini mushrooms, onions, spinach and bacon. Toni and I had great bruschetta and gnocchi. Back on the road again, interesting in that when you get on the freeway you have to ...

... the town of Bolsena today, another MPH and had a look around. They had a little craft market in the main square but it was at the harbour where all the action was. Everybody was either sat by the lake or promenading up and down, enjoying the lovely sunshine and scenery. We found a track that ran alongside the lake that took us all the way back to the campsite. That evening, we had pizza watching the sun set over the ...
