Snow covered following last weeks cold blast we make our way up - a long way - finally arriving at 'the lighthouse'. The view was spectacular, well the view as best it can be here with quite dense haze/smog. We could see the water but sadly the Swiss Alps, whilst could be seen, were blurry. (Switzerland is ...

We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. ... at a restaurant in town and headed back to the hostel. Although we were in a 6 person room, it was only the two of us. However, it was very cold so we piled on the blankets and went to sleep.

The next day we decided to take a bus from Bergamo to Lovere, a small town in a valley in the Alps on Lake Iseo. The hour bus ride was very beautiful since we were traveling in the Alps. The town was very ...

      Individuals Intimate In Italian

A travel blog entry by handyeh on Nov 30, 2014

One thing that happens to me here that never happened to me in China:- people speak to me in Italian. Ok there is more to that than first meets the eye, er, ear.

Yeah, I know, it would be crazy if someone in China started speaking to me in Italian. But they didn't speak Chinese to me in China either. Because I looked European, they spoke to me in English. ...
