Right next to the place recommended to me was a grocery store so I could have simply bought a few things and hid in my hotel room but I braved the restaurant. ... which was part of the old hospital so we decided to visit the. Well worth the visit as it showed how people were treated long ago. The apothecary itself had a lot of the original medicines used in the 17th century.

... br> After settling in we took a stroll to check it out and found we were only about 350 metres from the impressive Chateau in Bauge. after our stroll we had decided on a restaurant which was part of an Auberge de France hotel. It was excellent.

We had passed by Bauge a number of times over the years but as the road towards Le Man bypasses the centre we had never stopped.
