    ... by a folk choir, belonged to Liam Lawson's Glendalough Mass. I am currently reading his book, and having been to Glendalough and heard these parts before loved the coincidence.

    i was going to stay for tonight's candle procession bit I am desperate or a decent meal and a rest. Oh, how I dream of roast pork, baked vegies and thick gravy. A really long day travelling tomorrow. Back to Paris and then onto Rouen - nearly eight hours in a train.

    ... of public faith was quite foreign to me. I have heard stories, mainly from Mary Jones, of similar processions many years ago and then from Tim Ham of these processions around Cairns.

    This procession occurs each evening whilst another, focussed on the sick, occurs each afternoon. It was close to 10.45pm when the last Amen was prayed and then there was a mad rush for the hundreds of souvenir shops that remain open until 11.30pm.
