... if this is the correct translation! There are lots of interesting tiny alley ways, some just wide enough for a small car and at that moment a tiny road sweeper zoomed past us into a no entry and then right into another no entry, good job most of the inhabitants are most likely asleep!!! As we left Pierre quite early we decide to head back for lunch and find a more direct route( or rather Jayne did, I am a bit hopeless at directions ...

Phil took Tess for an early morning walk only to find market stalls all the way alongside the canal where we enjoyed our walk in the sunshine yesterday when we were in town and there were about 50 transit vans but he only brought back bread though. Last night was quieter, we could only hear the lions a couple of times and this morning they're packing up to leave. The camels, lamas and horses are at the side of the road grazing (no lions). ...

(You can just see it on the photo of the tiled pic) We packed up our late lunch into the backpack and went for a walk, Just opposite were what used to be the salt flats, with brilliant board walks. Blue sky again, which does lift the sprits and we are off to find the sun and more warmth. We take it nice and gently, but as you can see we couldn't do it any other way, we let Pierre choose the appropriate gears, he is clever. Our altitude is 1600 metres above sea level and the sea is where we are heading. ... two small groups of Pyrenean Chamois, two together and then two Adults and a fawn as we moved slowly and quietly through the forest - fabulous. Very stiff the next day so took an easy day planning to shop in Vernet Les Bains and stop over at the Col de Jou again! However, gave up on the idea as the new motorhome is too wide!
