Tried to take the ferry a couple of days early but the charge was ridiculous so here we are still! Did an excellent shop in Auchan, then found a brilliant are at Les Erables for the night. After our first farm visit, we crossed the border into France. Dr. Karcher literally stood up, said we're in France, and said we had to be back on the bus in five minutes. We drove through a very small town, and stopped at the church. We jumped out of the bus, tried spelling France, and I took a lot of pictures of the church, which was beautiful.
