    We continued down the road to the Rhone river where we spied Australian flags flying and emblazoned across a river boat with a huge sign Ayers Rock. Obviously the place to be in Lyon. We of course got our photos taken in front of Ayers Rock so that we can say we've been there too. ;-)

    We left Troyes early as we didn't want to pay for a carpark in the town, or the 12Euro breakfast...

    We found a bar opening near Square du 8 mai 1945 on the way out of town and went in a grabbed possibly the best coffee we'd had since Milan. Then off again. A quick stop at Montereau for some lunch goods and batteries and then off up the road to Fontainebleau. There is supposed to be a nice Chateau here... Strewth, you can ...

    Victoria cant say many words very well but she always say like Heerard, which is a french way to say my name. They don't have any Jared's here so its very difficult for them to say.

    Today I went on a Paris Vision tour to visit two chateau's outside of Paris. The tour was by mini bus and there was 2 other people, an elderly couple from Alabama, USA. Fontainebleau Chateau is about an hour from Paris and was used by royalty as a hunting lodge. The town is still surrounded by the forest and there are road signs with a picture of a deer on them just like we have signs with kangaroos.
