There has been a train strike so we delayed our visit to Fontainebleau outside of Paris. After reading that many trains were still running, we decided to try. We went to the Gare de Lyon station and were very pleased with the many people who were kind enough to answer our questions and get us on the right train. We enjoyed a peaceful 45 minute ride to the town ...

... This is all about princesses and famous disney stories which is the one I really wanted to see now. We saw the 20th anniversary Disney parade. Mum took a picture with Goofy and me.

We then saw Sleeping Beauty in her castle and ended up in a queue meeting the princesses. But unfortunately when it was our turn they stopped the line. Very disappointed.

We then did a ride with Dumbo which Aiden and me really liked. Then we went on a ride ...

Tomorrow D has a day off and we will see some sights of Lyon ...

Picked up the car after a hopeless search for europcar at Gare du nord station. Had some fun driving through Paris back to the hotel to pick up our bags. We cannot recommend the hotel enough. So friendly, so helpful. The place has been renovated so well all the reviews online are right and this has to be one of the best places in Paris. The room was tiny but beautiful. The staff bent over backwards for anything you ...

... Paris. Then i have a train from Paris to Frankfurt airport. Then i have my flight to Shanghai at 10.30pm. Then I'm in Shanghai for 23 hours. One more hour and i would have needed to pay for a travel visa just to be in the airport. Then another 12 hours to NZ. Should be good.

Other memories i need to remember...
I'm playing chess a lot with Nathan. He plays it as a sport and thankfully I'm still winning. But he wins a fair enough share too. I found out i really ...
