... trying to read the bus timetable but had great difficulty. The airport was like a ghost town. There were very few people to ask for help. There wasn't an information desk open and the people I did ask for help quite frankly did not even seem like they wanted to help and couldn't talk English. There was a old man standing nearby, I recognised him from earlier. He was the one shouting abuse at the Hertz Hire Car Company for scamming him. I felt ...
Day 42 - Bari Italy
This morning after no sleep - thanks to the people in the cabin next door we started our day with a wonderful massage at the day spa. The massage was exactly what I needed. We then went for breakfast, then back to the coffee bar where I was served a soy latte without any hostility or confrontation! We disembarked at Bari at lunch time. With some trepidation, we approached the men and asked about go-karting. Abby was too small ...

We managed to book a shuttle directly through our resort that would take us to the Cagliari airport (about 2.5 hour drive) and from there we got a taxi from the taxi stand by the arrivals that took us to our hotel in Cagliari. It was by far the easiest transportation day we've had all trip.

We spent our evening sitting by the main pool again and listening to the music. Every night they play music by the pool and it's the same rotation of European/Italian songs which EVERYONE loves and knows the choreographed dance to with English songs mixed in. The DJ also loves Bruno Mars and did a lot of singing over the music, which he butchered every time.
Banking issues aside, it was a pretty good day :)
