    Said goodbye to the Cinque Terre with a lovely bowl of seafood risotto lovingly cooked by a very Italian looking chef. Spent most of the day on trains watching the countryside go by. We had an interesting time with 10 minutes to find the platform and change trains in Milan only to find someone in our seats. It seems that happens a lot. People just sit anywhere but will move if you turn up with the ticket for that seat. ...

    ... one time. I am so thankful we are staying on the island of Lido and not Venice. The island is a gorgeous beach island. It is much quieter and calmer then Venice. Our hotel is spectacular.
