Today we began very slowly as my dad had to complete some work, but after a while we had some breakfast and set off. We decided to go to Murano again and see some glass blowing this time. We walked to an Marco square and then caught a vaporeto along the Venetian lagoon to the Island of Murano. When we got off the boat we first looked into some little stores observing the hand made glass creations. After a while we found a place where they were actually making the glass, it ...

... button! Our breakfast at the hotel was simplest so far, but quite adequate; the breakfast room hostess brought us a basket with 2 croissants and 2 small rolls, all warm. The croissants were already filled with jam. The rolls were wonderful chewy white bread. She also gave us a plate with butter, jam and small packets of liverwurst. We were catching a train to Naples at 3:30pm so we had some time ...

I keep trying... But I just can't see the art in making a refrigerated step ladder... Quite liked the jeff koons and the warhols. Oh well Ca Pesaro had a lovely cool under croft on the grand canal :-) The 'art or sound' exhibition at the Prada institute was a scream , partly as there were more attendants than visitors and they were all done up in identikit Prada. Some of ...

... close by. Susa Gelatoteca. I had a suso and panacotta mix that was delicious. Suso was their toffee and caramel flavor. My gelato tour of Italy continues. I have not yet been disappointed. Lizzie can have France with their pastries if I can have Italy's gelato.

We meandered back to our hotel and took a brief riposo before heading back out in the evening to walk around St. Mark's Square at night. We listened to Rick Steve's audio tour and the beautiful orchestra ...
