Nice character hotel just outside of the main square. Excellent service and the restaurant is to die for.

It was getting late so we chose to go to the Auberge de la Val du Vienne over in Sazilly near Chinon. We were made most welcome again and had a delightful lunch. I had Navarin of Homard which was delicious with ...

A little housekeeping and salad for lunch and dinner before going to the chateau Villandry at 9pm for the celebration initiated by the American owner in the early 20th century. In keeping with the 16C origins of the chateau they had people in period garb dancing and board games from the era in the courtyard and the garden ...
