Some highlights of the trip so far:
Red Bull Cliff Diving in La Rochelle was absolutely mental. 27 metres is really high, and these dudes do twisting summersaults into the water! We also both really liked La Rochelle and would like to re-visit one day and spend some more time there.

Apart from getting accosted by bad musicians, rose sellers and dudes peddeling dancing minstrel toys, it was a pleasant experience. However all this talk of French cusiene being outstanding is a load of tosh. It was nice. I've had better. About the only thing I really adore is a creme brulee.
Onward, we drove south through twisting, winding country roads, past signs for the prehistoric 'grottes' (caves) that are in abundance in this area, through the pretty village of Eternoz and on to Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne, forty-four kilometres south of Besanšon where Source du Lison and the Pont du Diable are situated.
