... pilgrims on the road today even got to Say "Buen Camino " Leave 1006h Walked through Leon to La Virgin del Camino Peter and Jennifer from Melbourne. Was planning to stay there but it will feel industrial so walked on another 14 km to Mazarife. Very rural hard road walking most the time and staying at Tio Pepe bar and nine euros per night. Have done my washing and now sitting in the bar watching soccer highlights with the locals. Missed dinner as fell asleep! ...

... a couple hours of siesta. After siesta, we gathered our dry clothes and with everything clean, organized our gear for tomorrow's walk, then had a peregrino dinner at 7:00. ... wine and a small dog. This afternoon i counted no less than 12 handbag dogs sitting around with their owners during the afternoon (6.30pm) wine and cigar. None of these dogs walked in on their own accord yet a few did walk out on a leash. I am wondering if this ratio of 'carry in and walk out' is directly proportional to the number of wines had by the owner.
