    ... in France' for afternoon tea and a stroll in the garden. It really is a dream for those with the fortitude to take on the renovations and we have been lucky to get a glimpse of their lifestyle, and mosquitoes.     lovely area, and caravan park, owned by a UK couple and frequented mostly by Brits, so we were able to have conversations again!
    We finally got the caravan serviced by a British guy who "retired " to France.
    Really enjoyed Thouars markets which sold everything fresh - meat, seafood, ...

    ... from the Bank Holiday weekend. The church was open, so we had an investigate, very damp, green and mouldy in places, but with some beautiful carvings. We headed back once it started raining harder and spent the rest of the afternoon in the van. Eventually I got a token for the tumble-dryer and shoved the clothes in for an hour.     ... wonderful friendly camping. The sun had come out and stayed for the rest of the day, so that was marvelous ! The first castle we wanted to visit was Azay le rideau, absolutely stunning from the outside and which we visited also inside. (Entrance 8 pp).
