I feel like this trip got started on the right foot while I was driving up Bank St after dropping of Fannie at the dog boarder and heading downtown to pick up Caroline when I found myself stopped at a red light right in front of Meat In The Middle. I'd heard a lot of good tihngs about this sandwich shop so I pulled over and popped in for one of their smoked meat sandwiches and some coleslaw. Was not disappointed.
... ready to crawl, and have now returned to the hotel where we will have a quick dinner and get some sleep prior to the start of cycling tomorrow. Tomorrow is a relatively easy day of 111 km with little climbing (yay!). The forecast is ok for the morning but thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. Steve and I are planning to start early early to try to avoid at least some of the rain.
