    ... version, has only 13k's on the clock when we picked it up. Back to Chamonix and we popped down to watch the Climbing World Cup. We were drinking a beer, sitting in the square and life was pretty grand. Check out the guy hanging on the Zlagboard. This was attracting all the macho-men.     ... br> Back to the present. Decided on a bit of a plan of attack – Given the weather is good today and tomorrow, and questionable after that, decided to try and get in as much of the scenic stuff as we can in the next couple of days. So today it was off on a train ride up the mountain to ‘Mer de Glace’, supposedly the largest glacier in France, and the highlight of this trip was to be a visit into an ice cave.

    ... to climb down 430 steps and of course back again, I battled a bit but made it! So glad it was well worth every bit. Have never and probably won't ever see anything like it.
