    ... about a hidden gem. It had Roman ruins, an Art Gallery with Rodin sculptures among the many and an Auto Museum. They had a sculpture in every roundabout. It certainly was The Art Village. The only disappointment (aside from the cost of lunch-I don't know how anyone affords to live in Switzerland) was that the Ice Rink was closed. Dinner tonight at the American Dinner in town.     ... was winter like, and in Chamonix it was in the 60's. The town of Chamonix reminded me of a ski town like any I have visited in the United States. There were a lot of ski related stores, and if we had time, I would have loved to ski down Mont Blanc.

    ... time to shop and explore during the afternoon on a busy Friday. We then later met for our farewell dinner with the group and Emilie. Dinner was very nice and we all had our moments giving our opinions and thoughts about the trip. We then went back the hotel to finish up the night and then get up early for our flight home. I think I was one of the few to stay home and get rest after packing all up to leave for the U.S.A.

    ... to see another side of Mount Blanc , but now the weather had closed in ,the higher we went the more rain,wind and cloud. By the top it was again freezing cold with very little visability. How lucky we were the 3 days leading up to today ( & tomorrow was rain and low visability) we have had the best weather and such an unbelievable day!
