    ... on the canal path. It was all big! We passed through some really ancient farming communities along the River Saulx which is a fast flowing beautifully clean weedy river. This is where we sat and saw the biggest water rat ever along with a very old sedate trout! Great ride. I'm really going to miss this country's quite roads and little hamlets unspoilt by time.   • Musee de l'Ecole de Nancy - Situated on the western side of town, set inside the home of a once well known Art Nouveau collector. This place had the most extravagent furniture I've ever seen. I wish I could have taken a photo of the bathtub, but my phone died. I fell in love with Victor Prouve's paintings throughout the house.

    Anyway, so after Lina and I dropped off our notices, we explored the downtown part of Nancy some more. We went into a bakery and oh my goodness, it was like heaven.     ... out, joking around and trying to learn the names of the other students, the girls all called it a night at midnight while the boys were venturing out to the “love boat” club, power to them! Tomorrow we have three classes again, maybe I’ll venture to the gym, I can’t keep up with all these eating and wine-ing!

    Anyway, point is, we went grocery shopping one more time and then agreed to go shopping for comforters and other miscellaneous things around 6:30pm. In France, everything closes at 7pm.
