    ... that's even active now.

    Saturday, March 8th
I felt like a run was much needed so I decided to take a jog to the Parc de la Cure d'Air. I knew it was gonna be a breeze at 1.9km away, but I did not anticipate the incline I would be facing. After a very exhausting run at a 45 degree angle, I finally reached the park. All the hype was true and made the run that much more rewarding. The view of Nancy from the park was spectacular.

... hidden treasures within Nancy, including the Porte de la Cratte, which was built in 1336! AND we went to the zoo! AND Lina and I purchased tickets for an orchestra concert this upcoming Saturday morning! We seized the day!

More adventures will soon follow, but for now, I need to go study, finish my paper and go to the market with Alexis to buy some fruits and veggies so I can eat healthy and avoid more calcium nodes!

    Much love,

    Amy :)

... where it was getting boring and everyone started taking out their phones. I began to reach for mine, then completely stopped myself. Sure I could have sent out a text to someone back home, or checked Facebook. But instead, I took a deep breath and savored the moment. Before I know it, I'll be saying au revoir to France and be on a flight back home. So I might as well take the time to simply live in the moment, and watch the world pass ...

... just getting confused because I think in English but it comes out French or the other way around. I just know I'm going to struggle when I get home.

Ruby and Bobbie are done with exams and invited me to dinner. Sadly, I had to say no because I need to study for my exam tomorrow morning. I am not liking having to miss out on spending time with my friends before I leave.

It's another late night of studying and it's going to be worse because I have to wake up ...

... beer open, but it required so much work for just one beer that I only had 2/12 beers. It was a sad sad sad night.

Anyway, here are some pictures of Nancy! Beautiful city, really. The pictures don't do it justice.

Sidenote: As I go on about my days and realize how much stuff I actually need, I feel that much more thankful for the things I have back at home. Yes, Europe is way more charming and cultural than the US. But damn do we have it good over there.
