This morning we said goodbye to our beautiful Castle hideaway & hit the Autostrada. First stop was Vicolungo The Style Outlet Shopping Mall to spend the last of those pesky Euro's! Then we thought we would just have a drive around the villages in Lombardy around the lake Lago Maggiore. It was just beautiful. Especially the village if Angera. I could ...

We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...

... was full of mainly locals and a few tourists. The menu was only in Italian but the waiter was able to help us decide what to have. We shared a Caprese salad and I have never seen mozzarella pulled this way. Instead of a ball it was a hollow circle and beautifully soft and creamy inside the outer layer. Just delicious! In fact our mains were good too.

Wandered around Intra after lunch. This town is more vibrant filled with lots of young people ...
